Your skin feels better and so does your body when you are properly hydrated, especially during the spring and summer months. If the main reason you don’t drink water is because it doesn’t have a taste or is boring, you aren’t alone. Many people refuse to drink water simply because they don’t like it. Still, we have a fun twist on the fruit and vegetable infused water, that is not only easy to put together on your rush out the door, but it is also visually appealing and takes only a few minutes of preparation.
Get your favorite fruits and vegetables. Cut them into small sizes and store in the freezer, in a freezer- safe container. We suggest that about thirty minutes after you put them in, simply pull out and move the pieces around a little so that they don’t form one large solid, instead of easy to remove pieces.
Get creative: Cucumber is not the only tasty veggie to toss into your iced water bottle or insulated cup! You’d be surprised at how refreshing it is to add a raw green bean or two into your lemon water. Also, a favorite of ours is fresh iced water with apple slices and a cinnamon stick.
Once you fill your cup with iced, toss in a few of your favorite frozen fruit or vegetable pieces, add water and enjoy!
